The time has come for me to say goodbye. It was such a memorable and fulfilling part of my journey to study here. I am so glad that I have known Access College. I have a great news: I got a Job
What can I say? I remember the first day I started, I actually dreaded it, I wondered if I could actually do this for 8 long months. Well, I stuck with it and like Sonia says the time did fly by, she’s not just saying that.
First I want to thank each and every one of my teachers and Margarita, they really want the best for us and for us to succeed.
I can’t lie I am ready to leave, I will miss the atmosphere and my classmates who I can now call my friends and I hope we keep in touch, but it’s time to move on.
I start my new job on Monday so I don’t even get a break; I am excited and nervous but more excited. I hope they are pleased with me and I hope I am happy with them.
For me, I let my past experiences define me and bring me down. I actually thought I wasn’t able or good enough to do better because of others, Sonia picked me up and dusted me off and faced me in the right direction so I must thank Sonia. Thank you.

ABC Access Business College chose me. More than twice I have tried to register for the second career program and within those two times it did not go the way I thought it would go. Failure was not new to me, most have my life I felt I could not have completed anything I have started, I was at the end of my rope on the verge of giving up. ABC Access Business College was my last try, with my track record I thought I was beaten by whatever negative force that I felt was holding me back from receiving my full worth.
I stood strong and determined to keep holding on to that goodness I felt deep down saying don’t give up keep fighting you can do it. I believed in my dreams, I saw myself more powerful in my dreams. I thought these dreams has to be real cause it felt that way to me real. I needed more than just a get by check; I needed a career, stability, home. I found everything that I have been searching for right here at ABC Access Business College.

To ABC Access Business College,
My experience at ABC Access Business College has been a great life changing journey. Prior to making contact with one of the school’s administrators I felt a bit overwhelmed, but after speaking with one of the college’s faculty staff all that anxiety dissolved, I felt as If the foundation of the school’s principals were based on the best interests of its students and that they would try and assist with as much information as possible to help individuals make the right choices.
Once my enrollment and my course of choice which was Hospitality Management was approved the journey began, the school atmosphere was dynamic , from the students enrolled in various programs, to the teachers at the school, I always felt a welcoming presence upon arrival every morning.
It is rare to be in a surrounding where you have a support system that not only involves the teachers but the students as well.
The administrating staffs were always ready to lend a hand where it suited, and it was all done with a welcoming smile. The Hospitality Management program which entailed a vast variety of subjects from managing hotels, supervising food and beverage facilities to front office operations, as well as loss prevention and security was my course of choice. The various subjects covered provided students with substantial information to be confident and ready for the journey ahead upon graduating from the program.
The teaching methods taught, gave me an in depth understanding about Hospitality Management and all related fields that made this program quite fascinating and interesting to learn. Having no prior experience in the industry, I felt confident enough that upon graduating from my course it gave me the confidence and education as well as the tools necessary to be able to succeed in this industry as well as being certified by the American Hotel and Lodging Institute. I would like to thank Sonia and ABC Access Business College staff for their professionalism and immense support. Few years back when I came to Canada I was searching different colleges & programs to suit my professional background and found ABC Access Business College to be the best match as the College offered excellent program in the field of Banking & Financial Services. At that time my job prevented me to take this full time program but I would say I was fortunate that later circumstances allowed me and I was able to make it in January, 2015 intake.
It's never too late to do something you really want to; education has no age limit. I am glad and feel privileged to be a student of ABC Access Business College. Banking and Financial services diploma is a complete package for students looking to pursue their career in the field of financial services. I have great respect for Sonia for her great personality and high professionalism; she is an institution in herself. I would also like to thank Peter for his efforts to go extra mile and help us to grasp the concepts in detail regarding Investments funds & Canadian Securities course and actually making his students job ready with his job search workshop.
A great respect and gratitude for Isaac for his work ethics and making learning easy for even novice students having difficulties with the nature of the subject. I would like to thank David for making Accounting class worth attending with his big commitment and enthusiasm. A huge appreciation for Margarita for overseeing variety of tasks with a sunshine smile each day and Berj for his cooperation and constant support.
I would also like to thank Alya and Chris to share their expertise with the students. I am very happy to announce that I got a job in National Accounts Receivable Company (NCRI) Mississauga.

Firstly, I would like to wish all of you a happy Family Day! It is indeed
fitting that I write this note to you today as I very much felt like I was
part of a large family while at the ABC Access Business College.
Along with learning innumerable valuable skills that would later lead to my current employment, I was deeply touched with the warm atmosphere and the the special bonds that were created with many of the faculty and students. The ongoing support, patience, and guidance from the teachers provided the ultimate environment where one could navigate through the rigours of instruction, assignments, and tests, and feel that they had the wind behind their backs and that success was not a distant notion, but rather a very near point that would be reached with the help of all these wonderful people.
In my current position, I am undertaking responsibilities in a field that is very new to me, and I have to say it is great to be part of the working society. I feel young and vibrant, and once again there is a spring in my step, and this all happened through the help of the Ontario Government and your administration and teachers. Much of the world knows Canada is a great nation, one of the many reasons that it is great is because, as I've personally experience, this country gives people of my age a second chance to become productive members of society. For this I'm very grateful - thank you Canada!

I cannot believe I finished school. It is gone like a moment. I don’t want to leave the school. I want to stay one more year. I really had good time. Even with all the test and exams I enjoyed my students days.
I am very grateful to Business Access College for amazing journey. Especially to Sonia and her very professional and hardworking team- Margarita, Isaak, David, Burj.
I learned a lot, I earned a lot. Because of Business Access College I have a lot friends now. When I arrived in Canada I didn’t have anybody, now I have the college and new friends, I am not alone anymore.

We all face challenges in our lives, how we handle them affects our personal growth, shapes our future, and inspires those around us.
Facing my biggest challenge a few years back, I had to accept a physical obstacle to overcome, realize I wasn'tt going back to the career I enjoyed, develop an alternate path by seeking guidance, reorganizing my thoughts, and mentally, physically allowing change into my life.
This has been a spiritual re-awakening of my inner talents; a healing period where I regained confidence in my physical capabilities and I now have a strong sense of direction in my career path, thanks to everyone I have met throughout this journey.
When I was accepted for the Second Career Program it was bittersweet, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer and my mother also struggled with health issues. My first thought “How am I going to cope?” Their strength in facing this new challenge and changes in their daily lives renewed my strength and gave me purpose. What I accomplish will make them proud and give my parents inner peace that I will be OK.
Gaining acceptance at ABC Access Business College for the Graphic and Web Design diploma program was an enormous blessing. The distance from Brampton was going to be a challenge, my anxiety over my parents and finances was high but the first day that I met Ms. Sonia and my Professor Isaac, I knew this was where I needed to be. They both made me feel calm, welcome, encouraged me that I really can do this and that the college would be accommodating.
My husband, parents, mother-in-law and family further supported me to continue with this new adventure. They looked forward to seeing my creations and my designs became a great tool to help us forget for a moment as we faced the trying times to come.
I have always had a love for nature; truly believe we all have that natural attraction, and thus my theme for my artwork was to open the window to nature into all of my designs. My confidence increased with feedback from my professor or fellow students and soared when I was asked for my advice on their projects.
To everyone at ABC Access Business College I am thankful that you were a part of my journey:

This chapter in my life has come to a close, but a new one has already begun, I was offered a contract position with Tourcan Vacations (A new blessing, I am thankful to receive). The position will give me a professional platform to utilize, grow my new skills and incorporate nature into the designs I create.

I have gained knowledge and proficiency in the use of Accounting Applications, Computerize Accounting ACCPAC, QuickBooks, Simply accounting, Canadian Securities course (CSC), Canadian Investment Fund Course (CIFC) Mutual Fund & Microsoft Office all marketable skills to get back in the work force. One month after I started my program, I was offered a part time job from an investment dealer company which works best for me because I am actually practicing what I am learning to be an investment representative.
I am so glad that I have reached this stage in my life graduating in Banking and Financial Services. Life is a journey, full of trials, but the best that we can do in our life is to continue moving forward. Never give up until you succeed.
For all the students, I will encourage you by these words: “Believe in yourself, then others will believe in you, too. Have self-confidence; there is no end to what you can accomplish. Have passion in what you do, and love what you do, have a strong will and determination and then success will come your way.”

Today I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the feelings of happiness that took place within these buildings that unfortunately are coming to an end. I am thankful for the people I met that became such close friends. I am thankful for the care, the received knowledge, for the possibility to raise my self-esteem, and for the chance to renew my spirit. Thankful for the teacher’s kindness and patience towards their students. I am thanking God that you exist, for your wisdom kind heart, strictness, individual approach towards each student, the ability to respond to diversity.
For myself this is not just an education but much more. It is a part of my life, a spirit rehabilitation after my son’s passing away. It is a way out of depression. I am very thankful to each one of you for your smiles and encouraging words at meetings. Thankful to all my professors who became my close friends. Starting with the kind and nice Margaret who greets us with a smile and fresh coffee every morning and her patience with us. She became like my sister with whom I was able to express individual concerns and she always answered with kindness and patience. Also, Berj for his patience and humbleness which hides so much kindness and longing to help. The students come in for any questions starting from examination and ending with employment researching and he never says no. I am especially thankful for Mr. Tarik who I consider a really talented professional teacher. Thankful for Mr. David Lee who is talented, kind teacher. And Mr. Isaac who is hard working, competent professional with high level of patience and with a great sense of humor. I deeply respect everyone for the outstanding job. I also thank God for the chance to learn with such beautiful, smart, kind, and intelligent colleague students.
